From developing MIDI Interfaces and software in the 1980’s David was Contracted in 1988 to build the first working Laser Harp from LaserPoint Cambridge for Jean Michel Jarres London Docklands concert.

Recently David was introduced to Iskender Paydas A hugely talented musician composer and producer in the Turkish Music industry. They have collaborated on several projects including a 13 string Laser Harp , with full MIDI control.
Following on from a conversation with Lead man (Fermal Akgul / MANGA )at a local BBQ Laser Music Technology are developing what we beleive to be the worlds first 6 beam Laser Guitar using PhotoDiodes and Position sensors to generate the MIDI messages.
We were awarded a ground breaking contract to provide monumental laser effects for Blackpool Tower. Five U.K. laser display companies were invited to tender for the project and after completing an arduous tendering exercise Laser Technology were delighted to be awarded this exciting and innovative contract.

The first roundabout in the world to contain a laser was opened on Wednesday 10th November by leading British actress Charlotte Rampling. Designed by London sculptor Rob Olins, the structure on the gateway roundabout at the entrance to Haverhill stands over 11 metres tall and is lit by blue sodium lights and a 1 watt laser.
